Lawrence S. Frank, MD
Lawrence S. Frank, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with many years of experience performing cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment, and all laser LASIK in Rockville / Gaithersburg. Following his graduation from the George Washington University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Frank joined the military as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force. He is a former Captain and Chief of Aeromedical Services. Dr. Frank received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and his medical doctorate from the George Washington University of Medicine and Health Sciences, where he interned in internal medicine and performed his ophthalmology residency. He has also served as the Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology at the University.
Dr. Frank was nominated by the Washingtonian magazine as one of the area’s Top Doctors due to his reputation as an ophthalmologist that other physicians would choose for their family members. He is licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Seema A. Gupta, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who received both her undergraduate and medical degrees from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her internal medicine internship at MacNeal Hospital in Chicago, where she was named Intern of the Year. Dr. Gupta served her ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital, which the U.S. News and World Report consistently ranks among the top two ophthalmology programs in the United States. She specializes in cataract surgery and treats eye diseases such as glaucoma. Dr. Gupta also fits patients with contact lenses and sees children.
Dr. Gupta contributed to the 4th edition of The Wills Eye Manual, a comprehensive resource on eye diseases that can be found in almost every ophthalmology office in the country. Dr. Gupta lives in Maryland with her husband. She enjoys art, cooking, and traveling.
